Safety in Our Community

As the weather warms up and we spend more time outside, it is important that we keep our community safe! Here are some tips for making the most of this spring and summer!

• Respect the speed limits. There are kids playing outside, so please slow down! Photo radar cameras will be installed in Scenic Acres this spring to reinforce these limits.
• Keep an eye out for cyclists. Since it’s getting warmer, more people will be on bikes or motorcycles. Please be aware that they will be on the road too. Make sure to give them plenty of space!
• Watch out for wildlife! As you may have seen, there are sometimes moose and deer who roam the neighbourhood. Keep yourself and your pets safe by giving wild animals their space.
• Look out for one another. Having friends in the neighbourhood makes the community a safer place!
