On Saturday, March 15th, 2025, the Scenic Acres Community Association proudly hosted a remarkable Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop led by the talented Michelle Tasa. She guided participants in both the morning and afternoon sessions through the intricate art of creating authentic pysanka eggs, using candles, beeswax, and vibrant permanent dyes. The workshop welcomed individuals of all ages and crafting backgrounds, sparking incredible exploration and creativity. 

To complement the event, we offered a delicious spread of traditional Ukrainian dishes, including cabbage rolls, perogies, kielbasa, and more! Gatherings like these strengthen our community, fostering learning, connection, and shared experiences. 

A heartfelt thank you to Michelle Tasa for generously sharing her expertise in crafting beautiful pysanky eggs. We are also deeply grateful to our incredible volunteers for their unwavering dedication and support, which made this event such a remarkable success.
