The 2024 Beach Volleyball Season has arrived!
The courts in Scenic Acres are among the best in Calgary — great sand, new adjustable poles and nets. We’re also one of the few courts that can be booked. Booking fees for lower demand times are now $20/hr/court during the weekdays (9AM-5PM), 9AM – 9PM on Fridays and 9AM-9PM on weekends and holidays. Booking fees for high demand times, which are weeknights, Monday-Thursday (5PM-9PM) are at a higher rate. Booking ensures that you have the courts for the times you want. If no-one is on the court, you can of course play without a booking, but you have to yield to bookings. The courts are CLOSED at 9PM until 9AM each and every day. In respect of the neighbours, and this is a hard rule. During July and August, SACA runs volleyball camps during the day 9AM-4PM.
If you have a regular or associate Scenic Acres Community Association membership, for an additional $10 per season, on top of your regular membership, you can book the courts during low demand times for free! You can book up to 3 hours a week (such as 2 courts for 1.5 hours, or 1 court for an hour-three times per week) up to 2 weeks in advance!
