The Scenic Acres Community Garden is in serious need of more committee members next year to ensure there will be enough talented and hard working volunteers to continue operations. The Garden is a huge benefit to our community but needs lots of helping hands to be an ongoing success.
To operate at a bare minimum of operations, assistance is needed for planning, coordinating gardeners/volunteers, and communications to residents.
As some of the communications and advertising for the garden starts in January, new committee members are required soon for the garden to be successful for the 2024 season and beyond. This work also continues in April through to October.
If your strengths are in organizing events, being a great communicator or you are just looking to spend
2 – 4 hours a month on a community initiative, now is your chance to lend a hand. Scenic Acres is a great community, so please consider joining the garden committee to contribute your time and talents.
