Digging In: Community Garden Wrap-Up & 2027 Vision Meeting

Whether you spent the summer harvesting prize-worthy tomatoes, battling the weeds, or simply admiring our neighbourhood plots during your evening walks, this garden belongs to all of us!

As the autumn frost creeps into Calgary, it is time to put our garden beds to sleep and dream up what is sprouting next. Join fellow green thumbs and curious neighbours as we look back on the 2026 season and plant the seeds for 2027!

• When: Wednesday, October 7th at 7:30 PM

• Where: SACA Community Centre (8825 Scurfield Drive NW)

What is on the docket:

• Tucking in the garden: Final fall clean-up duties and winterization checklist

• The 2026 post-game interview: What thrived, what struggled, and what surprised us

• Dreaming ahead to 2027: New crop ideas, structural improvements, and future plans

Bring your ideas, your questions, and your neighbourhood pride. Let’s make next year’s garden our best harvest yet!
