Parking Restrictions

SACA is working with the City to making changes to the existing Scenic Acres parking restriction zone in order to improve on street parking options in the north, adjust to traffic patterns around the new school and improve safety overall.

The new school at 220 Scenic Acres Drive will be opening in September.  A request has been submitted to the City of Calgary to extend the parking restriction area to include Scenic Acres Drive from Scenic Acres Gate to Scenic Ridge Gate and parts of Scenic Glen Crescent, Scimitar Point and Bays (see map on right side below)

In order to address traffic speeding along Scurfield Drive and enhance parking options for visitors and volunteers to our two elementary schools, limited parking will be permitted along Scurfield Drive, Scenic Acres Boulevard and Scurfield Way (see map on left side below).

We want to hear from you about both of these matters and what is required by you to enable these initiatives.  Please join us at one of the two open houses to provide your feedback and find out how you can help to implement these changes for your street block.
