Habitat for Humanity Development – Silver Springs

Although not in Scenic Acres this development will be in the line of sire of some homes in Scenic Acres.

An application for a Land Use Amendment (rezoning) has been made for a parcel of land located at 84 Silvercreek Crescent NW in the vicinity of Nose Hill Drive and Silver Springs Road.  The application is LOC 2017-0093 and City Council must approve the application.  This change will facilitate the construction of a 32 unit Habitat for Humanity development. 

A Public Information Session to gain feedback from residents and provide information regarding this Proposed Land Use Designation Application will be held on Thursday June 29 5 to 8pm at the Silver Springs Community Centre.

Habitat for Humanity prepared a presentation which was shown at a March 23 open house in Silver Springs.  This provides a background on Habitat for Humanity’s mission and the families they help.
