Announcing the 50+ Social Club!
The 50+ Social Club is a self-led group of active empty nester’s who are looking to connect with like-minded adults and engage in a variety of social and recreational activities. This club is in its infancy but current activities being pursued are: Snowshoeing, Dancing, Wine Tasting, Golfing, Biking, Movies, Hiking, Gourmet Cooking Lessons, Exploring Calgary and a Dinner Club.
The objectives are to promote fun, information sharing, education, interaction, fellowship, friendship, networking, etc. Please note, 50+ is just a guide, the group also warmly welcomes those in their 40′s who are interested in joining in.
Upcoming meetings are Wednesday Feb 29th, Mar 7th and Mar 21st at 10:45am in the Palmer Boardroom at SACA.
On Wednesday March 7th the meeting will take the form of an interactive presentation entitled “Smartphones Explained”. This talk will be of interest to people who have recently purchased or are considering purchasing a Smartphone such as an iPhone, Blackberry, Galaxy etc. and would like to find out what it can do and how to operate it.
