SACA also hosts a variety of weekly, by-weekly and monthly clubs and programs:
Ladies Social Coffee Craft Club: Mondays at 9am in the Palmer Boardroom.
Zumba Gold: Mondays at 10:30am in the Main Hall
Line Dancing: Tuesday mornings 10:30am and 11:35am in the Main Hall ($12 Drop In or register for a discount)
Book Club: 1st Tuesday of the month 1:00 to 3:00pm in the Palmer Boardroom.
Single Ladies Get Together: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month 10.30am to 12:30pm in the Palmer Boardroom.
Quilting Club: 3rd Tuesday of the month 9am and 3pm in the Palmer Boardroom.
Walking Club: Wednesdays meet at 9.10am, depart at 9:15am sharp. Call the office at 403.547.9589 to find out where the group will be walking each week, or to be added to the e-mail list.
Wednesday Afternoon FUN! (Cards, Games & Conversation): Wednesdays 12.45 to 3:45pm in the Palmer Boardroom.
Yoga Basics: Thursday mornings 9:15 to 10:45am in the Main Hall ($18 Drop In or register for a discount)
Artists Gathering: 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month 1:00 to 3:30pm in the Main Hall

SACA is an active member of TRIPLE A: The Alliance For Active Aging.  As a member of this collaborative group of 6 community associations, all SACA Members 55+ are eligible to participate in activities at all 6 community associations. These are Silver Springs, Varsity, Dalhousie, Edgemont and Montgomery CA’s. Activities range from Pickle Ball, Cards, Fitness, Newcomers, Tai Chi, Yoga and Socials. CALGARY SENIOR MEN’S SOFTBALL 55 +. Looking for men 55+ to join our league. No experience necessary. We have three divisions and can accommodate all skill levels. At the end of April new players are evaluated and teams are drafted. The league plays at Triwood and Senator Patrick Burns, one division plays in the day time, the other two play in the evening. The cost for 30 games plus playoffs is $145 to the end of March. The cost will be $165 in April.
